Is’thunzi Season 1 follows the lives of four young, ambitious girls navigating the challenges of being “born-frees” in South Africa. Led by the determined Winnie, the group, who call themselves “Ninjas,” uses their “grit and resourcefulness” to fight gender inequality, superstition, and cultural and financial barriers.
